Thirty years behind the same counter
For over thirty years our family has run a small enoteca on Via degli Alfani, a few streets from the Duomo. Not a bar with a wine list. A wine shop, where people from all over the world have walked in, sat down, and discovered the Tuscany that never makes it onto a menu back home.
Most visitors to Florence drink whatever the restaurant pours and never learn its name. That's a shame, because the good stuff isn't hiding. It just needs someone to walk you through it.
That's what we do. You sit down, and we pour. The smell of an old cellar, the pop of a cork, a map of Tuscany open on the table. We tell you what's in the glass, where it comes from, and why a wine from one hillside tastes nothing like the one from the next. We put the map of Tuscany in front of you and show you exactly where each bottle was born. By the fourth wine, you're not guessing anymore. You know what you like.

Four Tuscan wines from an easy coastal white to a serious Brunello — poured and explained one by one, not rushed, not scripted.
A real guided lesson with maps of Tuscany's wine areas, so you understand what you're tasting and can find it again anywhere.

A snack board to go with the wine: salami, cheese, and a few good bites.
No pressure to buy. If a wine wins you over, we ship worldwide from our cellar. If not, you've still had a lovely hour.

Not a thing. Most of our guests don't — you'll simply enjoy it more than you expected, and leave knowing what you like.

No problem. Your reservation is free, and you can change the day, time, or party size anytime by replying to your confirmation email.
